Violinist Alina Ibragimova’s performance of the Beethoven violin concerto with the Madison Symphony was a transformative experience for me…and I am not a huge fan of violin concerti…it was stunning. Check her out!
Need music? Try Eble Music first. One of the last of the real live music stores. They are crazy fast, too. Try calling; they are great on the phone.
Bulletproof Musician is a website with interesting information about performance psychology. I have not taken the course; I just keep an eye on the blog. He was trained by the author of The Inner Game of Music, by Barry Greene. I highly recommend the book, too.
This guy rocks, violists. (violinists, too.)
